Quote for the Day : Life focused upon God from whom all good comes

 If your eyes are on the Giver and not in the gift, you don't lose hope in the face of loss.

If you don't understand this quote, it has a lot of meaning.  We experience all sorts of things in life, but we, like the psalmist, trust in God and His promise for us while knowing all good comes from God.

It also reminds us that when a child receives God's gift of Holy Baptism, we look to God and His promise in Baptism that comes to that child and not the other way around.
