 PULLING TOGETHER BY PULLING TURKEY

The Kokomo Rescue Mission plans to supply an estimated 1,000 Thanksgiving meals this year, some delivered, some picked up in a drive-through and some served at their facility. Our church has signed up for two sessions in October to pull cooked meat off of the turkeys, which is then bagged and stored.

Five volunteers are needed for:

OCT. 9 FROM 1:30-3 PM / OCT. 16 FROM 1:30-3 PM.

The “turkey pull” will take place at the Kokomo Rescue Mission main building, 321 W. Mulberry Street, in the dining room. Sign-up sheets are at the Welcome Center. 

*Note: For those wishing to help with Thanksgiving meal delivery on Nov. 27, there are flyers at the Welcome Center. Participation on this is on an individual basis so feel free to pick one up and scan the QR code for more information.
