 CURATE CORNER:

I am so blessed to have a congregation as this one. Last Sunday went so well and everyone felt like it was in the olden days when the church was full. I was going to try to create a sort of social hour after church but last Sunday a lot of people gathered in the narthex after the service with laughter and conversations. It was great to see. We are taking baby steps in our changes.

Two issues to be addressed: Do we have enough space for people in wheelchairs? I suggested that during the meantime, when there is not enough space, the person in the wheelchair sit in front of the front pew. It worked out great. Secondly, a few commented that we need to provide parking for those who have a difficult time walking. Some of our members who have a difficult time walking, had to park further away from the entrance of the church. In the future we might have a valet system. In the meantime, if you don't have any physical challenges, please park a little further away and leave the parking spots near the church entrance open for those with limited mobility. Please let me know if there are other things that we need to address as time goes on. Peace in Christ, Pastor Dreyer.
