Galatians 3:23-29
23 Now before faith came, we were held
captive under the law, imprisoned until the coming faith would be revealed.
24 So then, the law was our guardian until
Christ came, in order that we might be justified by faith. 25 But now that faith has come, we are no longer
under a guardian, 26 for in Christ
Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. 27 For
as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither
slave[a] nor free,
there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's
offspring, heirs according to promise.

Psalm 64:1-8
Hide Me from the Wicked
To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David.
64 Hear my
voice, O God, in my complaint;
preserve
my life from dread of the enemy.
2 Hide me from the secret plots of the wicked,
from
the throng of evildoers,
3 who whet their tongues like swords,
who
aim bitter words like arrows,
4 shooting from ambush at the blameless,
shooting
at him suddenly and without fear.
5 They hold fast to their evil purpose;
they
talk of laying snares secretly,
thinking, “Who can see them?”
6 They search out injustice,
saying, “We have accomplished a diligent search.”
For
the inward mind and heart of a man are deep.
7 But God shoots his arrow at
them;
they
are wounded suddenly.
8 They are brought to ruin, with their own
tongues turned against them;
all
who see them will wag their heads.
