Ephesians 3:1-12
The Mystery of the Gospel Revealed
3 For
this reason I, Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus on behalf of you Gentiles—
2 assuming that you have heard of the
stewardship of God's grace that was given to me for you, 3 how the mystery was made known to me by
revelation, as I have written briefly. 4 When
you read this, you can perceive my insight into the mystery of Christ, 5 which was not made known to the sons of men in
other generations as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets
by the Spirit. 6 This mystery is[a] that the
Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the
promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.
7 Of this gospel I was made a minister
according to the gift of God's grace, which was given me by the working of his
power. 8 To me, though I am the very
least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the
unsearchable riches of Christ, 9 and to
bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in[b] God, who
created all things, 10 so that through
the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and
authorities in the heavenly places. 11 This
was according to the eternal purpose that he has realized in Christ Jesus our
Lord, 12 in whom we have boldness and
access with confidence through our faith in him.

- Ephesians 3:9 Or
by
Psalm 45:6-17
6 Your throne, O God, is forever
and ever.
The
scepter of your kingdom is a scepter of uprightness;
7 you have loved righteousness and hated wickedness.
Therefore God, your God, has anointed you
with
the oil of gladness beyond your companions;
8 your robes are all fragrant with myrrh and aloes and cassia.
From ivory palaces stringed instruments make you glad;
9 daughters of kings are among your ladies of honor;
at
your right hand stands the queen in gold of Ophir.
10 Hear, O daughter, and
consider, and incline your ear:
forget
your people and your father's house,
11 and the king will desire your beauty.
Since he is your lord, bow to him.
12 The people[a] of Tyre
will seek your favor with gifts,
the
richest of the people.[b]
13 All glorious is the princess
in her chamber, with robes interwoven with gold.
14 In many-colored robes she is led to the king,
with
her virgin companions following behind her.
15 With joy and gladness they are led along
as
they enter the palace of the king.
16 In place of your fathers
shall be your sons;
you
will make them princes in all the earth.
17 I will cause your name to be remembered in
all generations;
therefore
nations will praise you forever and ever.
