 LENT BEGINS WITH ASH WEDNESDAY – FEBRUARY 18, 2026 / 12:00 NOON & 6:30 PM

On Wednesday, February 18, 2026, we begin the Season of Lent with our Ash Wednesday service. Two services will be held, 12 noon and 6:30 PM. Both services will offer Holy Communion, and the imposition of ashes. All remaining Lenten services will be held at 12 noon and 6:30 PM. This year’s theme is “What it Means to be Church”. Topics and Scripture readings are:

2-25 – Lent 1 – “I Believe in the Holy Spirit” – 1Corinthians 12;12-20

3-4 - Lent 2 – “I Believe in the Holy Christian Church” – Psalm 40:9-10

3-11 – Lent 3 – “I Believe in the Communion of Saints” – 1Corinthians 10:16-17

3-18 – Lent 4 – “I Believe in the Forgiveness of Sins – Colossians 2:12-14

3-25 – Lent 5 – “I Believe in the Resurrection of the Dead and the Life of the World to Come” –                                             1Corinthians 15:50-57
