CURATE’S CORNER
As we heard last week, the love that we share is not our
own, but God’s love in Jesus Christ. The forgiveness we give is not our own,
but Jesus’ forgiveness. The good that we do is not our good but the ood that
flows from God in Christ Jesus in Whom all things are good. It is all in the
sacrificial love of Jesus upon the cross, who has given us His love,
forgiveness of sins, and life and salvation. As I quoted in my sermon: “The way
you treat me is not the way I treat you. The way I treat you is the way God
treats me.” A win-win in our relationship with others and who we are in
Christ.' There is a saying: “I know who you really are not when you are with
your friends, but when you face your enemy or someone you don't like — that is
when your enemy becomes your teacher.” What motivates your interaction and
character? Is it Christ? – Vicar Peeler will begin his vicarage on July 1st.
His installation will be that following Sunday. – Pastor Dryer
